Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Manager to maximize sales and ensure deep market penetration across the Tampa and Sarasota regions. In this role, you will have complete ownership of your territory, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and serving as a trusted industry expert.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the Territory: Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end-users across healthcare, education, and hospitality segments.
Secure Specifications: Deliver engaging product presentations and appointments to ensure our products are specified in upcoming commercial projects.
Maintain High Activity: Manage a rigorous field schedule, averaging a minimum of 5 appointments per day within the territory.
Drive Business Development: Proactively pursue new customers, expand existing accounts, and represent the brand at regional trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree is strictly required.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience in business development, field sales, or public speaking.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience specifying commercial building products or calling on architects and designers is highly preferred.
Travel & Location: Must live in or near the Tampa or Sarasota areas. Willingness to be on the road locally 3–4 days per week with occasional overnight travel (4–5 times per month) is required.
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus.
Additional Information
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 base salary plus commission and bonus eligibility.
