**General Laborer — L.C.L. Excavation (2006) Inc.

Join our team! L.C.L. Excavation is hiring a Laborer to support our municipal water and sewer piping crews. This role involves assisting with pipe installation, trench preparation, backfilling, and maintaining safe and efficient work zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of water and sewer pipes, fittings, and structures

• Support pipe layers by preparing trenches, bedding, and materials

• Use shovels, rakes, compactors, and other hand tools as required

• Help maintain safe trench conditions and proper grade

• Assist equipment operators with spotting, directing, and safe movement

• Set up and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and project requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in civil construction or underground utilities (asset)

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments

• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn

• Safety-focused and aware of trench hazards and equipment

• Valid driver’s license
