Senior Java Developer | BPCE-SI

Job Description

We are looking for skilled Senior Java Developers for our BPCE-SI (Solutions Informatiques) team. 

Main Responsabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand project needs and transform them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance development practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to deliver high-quality software on schedule.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and a microservices architecture.
• Proficient in database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, communication in French is valued. 

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
