Would you like to help build something new — a corporate training and talent-development business that helps companies across Greece turn their people into a competitive advantage?
We are launching a dedicated B2B Corporate Learning unit within the Alphabet Education Group, Greece’s leading post-secondary education organisation. We combine the applied expertise of AKMI and Metropolitan College, delivered through a nationwide network of state-of-the-art campuses. Our B2B offer spans from tailored corporate training till talent-access solutions for businesses of every size.
To support the growth of this new unit, we are seeking a dynamic, well-organised B2B Business Development Officer to work alongside our B2B Lead. You will be the engine behind our commercial activity — generating and qualifying opportunities, preparing client proposals and meetings, and keeping our pipeline and delivery running smoothly.
• Research target companies and sectors and build prospect lists, drawing on the Group’s extensive corporate network
• Identify, contact and qualify new business leads, and schedule and prepare meetings for the B2B Lead
• Prepare client-facing materials — proposals, presentations and tailored offers — for review and delivery by the B2B Lead
• Help translate client training needs into draft solutions across our service lines.
• Maintain the sales pipeline and CRM, and produce regular KPI and performance reports
• Coordinate with internal delivery teams (instructional design, content, digital learning platform, campuses and trainers) to ensure smooth, on-time delivery
• Support the organisation of launch events, training logistics, and assist with marketing and outreach activities
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform our offer and pricing
• Follow up with prospects and clients to support retention and repeat business
Requirements
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• Academic background with a Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s and/or a background in Business, Marketing, Education or Social Sciences will be considered an asset)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in business development, sales support, account management, project coordination or a similar client-facing/commercial role
• Strong research, organisational and proposal/presentation-writing skills
• Excellent English knowledge (both written and oral) and fluent Greek; knowledge of a second language will be considered a strong asset
• Excellent command of MS Office; familiarity with a CRM will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate research, content drafting, proposal preparation and reporting, and an eagerness to adopt AI-driven ways of working
• An interest in, or exposure to, corporate training, L&D, VET or talent development — knowledge of training design, certifications or micro-credentials will be considered a strong asset
• Self-motivation, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to strict deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Travel availability (within Greece and occasionally abroad)
