Cabin Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Synopsis

The Cabin Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising, performing & monitoring of all Cabin Maintenance activities on Etihad airways aircraft to deliver high standards of serviceability & appearance to our guests. The cabin maintenance supervisor leads, coaches & mentors Cabin Maintenance teams to develop their proficiency, knowledge & capabilities.

Accountabilities

• Safety & Quality:  Ensure full compliance with Etihad Airways, Safety & Quality, Regulatory procedures. Proactively monitor staff health / safety & work performance requirements, ensure tasks are complete using approved tooling & maintenance data. Promote safety and incident reporting culture.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, mentorship, and training to improve the team’s competence.
• Ensure accurate submissions of Lost Tool Reports are submitted immediately i.a.w Etihad Procedures
• Operational Performance:  Plan all scheduled day to day manpower allocation against EY CAMO Planning & Line Maintenance requirement.
• Lead your team to ensure all activity is carried out within the scope of approval and in accordance with the applicable AMM, CMM, TPM etc. Assign tasks, prioritise workload, and make sure resources are used efficiently.
• Audit & monitor aircraft cabin / maintenance activity, report on areas of concern, repeat findings & identify trends withing the aircraft cabin.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Basic aviation licence or equivalent Aviation Diploma / Apprenticeship 
• Experience: Five Years working in a Live Aviation environment in Ramp operations.
• Extensive knowledge of cabin interior products and maintenance gained in Line / Hangar environment covering all aspects of routine maintenance on Premium & Economy seats & cabin product.
• Be able to display good English written and vocal communication skills.
• UAE Driving License Preferable.
