About the role
We are looking for a people-focused Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Team Manager to help lead our C&I team. Reporting to the Manager – Commercial and Industrial Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth, championing our values, and elevating our customer experience objectives.
In this role, you will empower and coach a specialist team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage the end to end customer experience, ensuring contractual obligations are top of mind and maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. You will act as a champion for operational excellence, work with internal and external stakeholders to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Enjoy flexible working arrangements with 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
In this role, you will:
- Guide and coach the C&I team to achieve growth targets, uphold company values, and meet exceptional customer service standards.
- Work with team members to build understanding of industry changes and how they impact our customers.
- Facilitate structured, deliberate communication with internal teams, external providers, and key stakeholders at contracted customer organisations to ensure smooth contract management.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that maximise operational efficiencies and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver new initiatives which support our customers sustainability goals
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in team management within the utilities industry (ideally within the retail energy industry with exposure to its unique regulatory frameworks)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with an unwavering customer focus.
- Outstanding listening skills, natural empathy, and a proven ability to influence, inspire, and engage others.
