The Role

Are you a learning innovator with a knack for turning complex tech into seamless human capability? We are looking for a Senior Learning & Development Consultant to join our CRM Project team and lead the charge in a major business transformation on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

This isn’t just about system training, it’s about cultural evolution. Reporting to the Retail Learning and Development Manager, you will be the architect of learning for our new CRM platform. You’ll partner with Change Managers and project leads to bridge the gap between technical functionality and real-world "ways of working".

Role Responsibilities

• Design & Deliver: Take "raw" content and business requirements from our external vendor and transform them into engaging learning content that builds role-specific skills in our new customer platform..
• Persona Led Scoping: Before diving into design, you’ll scope out specific learning needs and how they differ across various role personas to ensure the training is fit-for-purpose.
• Build Resilience: Lead the charge on change leadership capability, we need an expert to design/deliver initiatives that support our people and leaders through this transition.
• Strategic Reskilling: Understand how roles will shift post-implementation and develop the reskilling roadmaps needed to get them there.
• Evaluate & Pivot: Lead the evaluation of training success; you’ll use data and feedback to determine if we’re hitting the mark or if we need to pivot our approach.
• Partner for Success: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, coaching them on reskilling strategies and gaining buy-in for development priorities.

About You

You are a people-centric professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You bring:

• Proven experience working within a project environment, ideally designing and delivering tech-platform training.
• You are a credible advisor who can navigate relationships with internal leaders and external vendors with ease.
• Experience in a similar L&D role with a focus on technology platforms preferably in the energy industry.
• A Cert IV or equivalent in Workplace Training & Assessment.
• Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design.
• A "whole-of-business" mindset—you see the big picture and align learning to our core values of Agility, Courage, and Teamwork.
• Able to travel to our offshore contact centre to deliver training, leaning on your experience tailoring content for different audiences and cultures.
