The Communication Training Course Instructor | Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) [USARC0022022] is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II.  This role shall be principally focussed on Civilian Training Services Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) for DOD/Military | Aerospace, Defense And Military - Aerospace, Defense, and Military (ADM) Industry Sector Group: Services And Solutions That Enable Aerospace, Defense, and Military Agencies To Enhance Capabilities, Drive Transformation, Operate Sustainably, And Maintain Mission-Readiness

We seek Communication Training Course Instructor | Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) [USARC0022022] candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for DOD/Military Sector Clients such as USARC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - Civilian Training Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Communication Training Course Instructor [Civilian Training Services] aligned with the Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the DOD/Military Industry Sector. 

This role focusses on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) | USARC Civilian Training Services - 'Civilian Personnel Management Office (CPMO)  Located Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) and across the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region (Of Country/World) Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual.

• Delivering communication learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance.
• The Communication Training program develops the verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills required to communicate effectively in professional and mission-focused environments. Participants learn practical techniques for delivering clear messages, strengthening active listening, overcoming communication barriers, and adapting communication styles to diverse audiences and situations.
• Through facilitated discussions, coaching exercises, scenario-based learning, and applied communication activities, participants enhance collaboration, strengthen workplace relationships, and improve organizational effectiveness.

Learning Objectives:  Improve verbal and written communication; strengthen active listening; enhance interpersonal effectiveness; adapt communication styles to different audiences; overcome communication barriers; improve professional correspondence; and increase influence and collaboration in workplace settings.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Communication Training Course Instructor | Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) [USARC0022022]

• Develop lesson plans; facilitate classroom and virtual instruction; conduct assessments; provide coaching and feedback; support curriculum updates and survey-driven improvements.

These Communication Training Instructor - Professional Communication and Leadership Facilitator role(s) are located in the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region, at or near Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery).  Initially identified Work Site Address (Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual:  4710 Knox Street (Marshall Hall), Fort Bragg, NC 28310-5010

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Communication Training Course Instructor | Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) [USARC0022022] Candidates:

• 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience; instructional certifications preferred.
• 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.
• This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the DOD/Military Sector and Communication Training Course Instructor Candidates principally support Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines.

Skills Required

• Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities, Professional Communication, and Organizational Effectiveness (Communication Training), Functional Area Activities.  
• Facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, and assessment.

Competencies Required

• Leadership, collaboration, problem solving, communication, adaptability, and customer focus.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Integrates LMS platforms, audio/visual technologies, interactive exercises, and performance-based learning methodologies.
• The Communication Training Instructor typically provides 1 Day (8 Hours) Instructor-Led Training (ILT) / Virtual Engagements serving as a Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II Mid-Senior Instructor / Facilitator aligned with NAICS: 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training and Knowledge Management. 
• Communication professional specialty Requires instruction in verbal, non-verbal, written, interpersonal, intercultural, and electronic communication skills with practical exercises and assessments.

• NACI eligibility required; supports USARC CPMO Civilian Leadership & Development Program; in-person and virtual delivery.
