Asphalt Paving Crew Members for City Streets

Western Engineering Co., Inc. is hiring Crew Members to join our City Streets Asphalt Paving Crew. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with a variety of tasks on asphalt paving projects, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with job site preparation for asphalt paving projects.
• Help place, spread, and finish asphalt during paving operations.
• Support the operation and setup of paving equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, shoveling, and raking.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous construction or asphalt paving experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.
