Responsibilities
- Operate service trucks safely and efficiently, transporting hazardous materials and tanker loads to construction sites
- Adhere strictly to HazMat and Tanker regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Manage loading and unloading processes safely, following all company policies and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers, project managers, and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately
- Assist with general service tasks on-site as needed to support the team
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols for hazardous materials and tanker operations
- Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and professionalism
- 1+ years of experience operating service trucks, preferably in construction or related industries
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading, unloading, and vehicle maintenance
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as required
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
