About the UK role
We are looking for a field salesperson to join our Southern team, which covers the Wales area. The candidate will ideally live in Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Trade Distribution account customers across postcodes CF,HR,LD,NP,SA.
Trade Distribution customers are made up of Distributors to Professional End Users and Professional Applicators. Trade Distribution customers cover all areas of Sika UK Target Markets, so close collaboration with Target Market colleagues will be essential.
The South team consists of 6 Business Development Managers and this role would suit an individual that is proactive, has strong relationship building skills, enthusiastic and a desire to succeed.
Purpose of the Role
To maximise sales and profitability through the education, and relationship management of customers and potential customers within the Trade Distribution Market.
Expectations of the role:
- Deliver sales and margin budget for the region.
- Develop strategies to achieve company targets.
- Growth of market share across the Trade Distribution Market.
- Measure success by utilising the CRM system.

- Strong field sales experience within the construction industry
- Strategic management of area to maximise sales and profitability
- Product/industry knowledge (advantageous)
- Ability to develop strong customer relationships
- Must be IT literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Commitment to ongoing development

Qualifications
What we need from you?
- Clean, current driving licence
- Minimum of 2 years field sales experience
- Proven track record of delivering results
- Must live in the area to be covered
- Must be IT literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems
- Industry/competitor knowledge would be advantageous
