What will your role be? 

We are looking for an IT SYSTEM ENGINEER to perform the following activities: 

• End-to-end responsibility for infrastructure management and evolution, including ownership of architectural decisions.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security across all environments.
• Operate within a Private Cloud environment currently undergoing transformation toward a Public Cloud model.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of the cloud migration and modernization strategy.

Qualifiche

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes (K8s) clusters in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform / OpenTofu for infrastructure development and Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
• Solid knowledge of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem to support the future transition toward public cloud adoption.
• Strong expertise in using Red Hat Satellite for system lifecycle management, provisioning, patching, and compliance in enterprise environments.
• Specific experience with advanced Kubernetes CNI plugins, particularly in implementing multicast traffic (Multus CNI) and dynamic IP address management using Whereabouts IPAM.
• Development, maintenance, and deployment of applications using Helm Charts.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining automation pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Solid expertise in cybersecurity applied to software and cloud infrastructure. Ability to integrate automated security controls (hardening, secrets management, access policies) directly into the software lifecycle.
• Software development skills focused on process automation and system integration (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming, with the ability to apply relevant design patterns to write clean, modular, testable, and high-performance code.
