As a Field Sales Activation Specialist, you play a key role in driving sell-through performance, brand visibility, and consumer experience across Salomon’s retail network in Norway.
This is a highly field-based, dynamic role (≈80% travel across Norway) combining sales support, product training, in-store execution, and activation. Acting as a true brand ambassador, you bring Salomon to life at the point of sale and strengthen relationships with retail partners.
Your focus is on activating the brand, accelerating stock rotation, and delivering premium in-store experiences through trainings, events, and visual merchandising excellence.
You contribute directly to business performance by ensuring that Salomon products are visible, understood, and converting in store environments.
Your Main Responsibilities
Sales
• Achieve the seasonal sales targets in the defined territory
• Build, present, and coordinate seasonal joint sell-through plans with assigned partners
• Maximize consumer preference and brand experience in the assigned territory
• Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
• Identify and drive reorder opportunities
• Handle all customer operational sales topics
In-store Visibility – VM Responsible
• Visit assigned stores after the first seasonal drop and regularly to implement best-in-class execution of Salomon branding and products
• Ensure brand and products are in the right space, visible, and rearrange if needed
• Maintain and enhance products, fixtures, branding, and communication
• Implement seasonal stories and product technologies, and ensure campaign visibility through branding tools and aesthetic sense
• Manage shop windows and engagement zones; coordinate construction of Salomon branding spaces
• Support the sales team in negotiating and securing prime locations for brand and product placement
Sell-out Support
• Carry out promo days, sell-through days, and demo days
• Support campaigns and drive-to-store consumer and community events and activations
• Identify and facilitate potential stock replenishment or return opportunities and submit reorder proposals
Shop Pro Engagement
• Deliver product training at store level and during larger clinics
• Manage relationships with Shop Pros and develop their brand engagement
• Support trade fairs and local events where applicable
• Facilitate business opportunities through strong relationships
Store KPIs Reporting
• Report on brand visibility: photos of Salomon spaces, windows, and branding, with improvement recommendations
• Periodically create training summaries, including statistics and feedback
• Provide competitive benchmark feedback
• Monitor sell-through performance where applicable

Essential Skills & Experience
1–3 years’ experience in retail, sales, visual merchandising, or trade marketing
Strong passion for sports, particularly running/outdoor
Strong presentation skills; able to deliver training to varied audiences
Results-driven with a proactive, hands-on mindset
Structured and reliable, with strong follow-through
Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous, field-based role
Valid driving license
Fluent in Norwegian and English
Willingness to travel ~80%, including frequent overnight stays
