We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Building Surveyor to join our team. In this remote role, you will support the Australian building surveying team by reviewing architectural and construction drawings, assessing compliance against the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and relevant building regulations. You will be responsible for preparing documentation for building approvals, assisting with compliance reports and permit applications, maintaining accurate project records, and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure projects progress efficiently across residential and commercial developments.

Position: Building Surveyor

Salary: PHP 60,000 - PHP 70,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays AU/NZ business hours, 7:00AM to 4:00PM PH Time; full-time (remote)

Holidays: TBD

Responsibilities:

  • Review architectural and construction drawings for NCC, Australian Standards, and building regulation compliance
  • Prepare documentation for building approvals, permits, and certification processes
  • Assist in compliance reports and technical assessments for residential and commercial projects
  • Maintain accurate project records and compliance documentation
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and internal teams to support project coordination
  • Identify non-compliance issues and support corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and documentation standards

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building surveying, compliance, architecture, drafting, or construction documentation
  • Strong knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and building approval processes (mandatory)
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good written communication and report writing skills
  • Experience with Australian residential or commercial projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote offshore setup
  • Portfolio is required.
