What you will do
- Your passion is the development of high-quality solutions. You don't just write code, you are passionate about building resilient, secure and performant solutions
- You bring your passion to discussions, advise our customers on solution design and architecture and implement the solutions developed.
- You define the architecture, processes and deployment.
- Depending on your experience, you will quickly take on team or project responsibility.
- Your task requires close coordination with architects, development teams and the customer.
- You use and understand Agile principles to deliver solutions in a multifaceted team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other related field.
- Experience working as part of a software development team is an added advantage.
- Comfortable programming in Python or related programming languages (C#, Java, C/C++, etc.)
- Experience in writing and running SQL scripts is required.
- Familiarity in infrastructure as code (specifically Terraform) is a plus.
- Structured work and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of Command Line Interface (CLI) in Linux, MacOS or any other Unix system is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of distributed computing technologies (e.g. Apache Spark).
- Experience in data modelling and data processing.
- Committed to ongoing learning.
- Driven and self-motivated.
- Good Project Management skills.
- Knowledge of Cloud Services (AWS, Azure etc.) is preferred.
- AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certifications is an added advantage.
