Job Description
At Bosch eBike, we are driving the evolution of connected and intelligent cycling. Our mission is to create smart, secure, and sustainable solutions that transform the riding experience for millions worldwide.
Your contribution to something big: Bridging the Gap Between Code and Riding Experience
- Holistic Development of Driving Functions: You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our intelligent software functions – from concept and implementation to validation. This includes features like the walk assist, gear shift detection, and tuning detection.
- Ensuring Software Quality: Professional software development is second nature to you. You create robust and maintainable code. You ensure the quality of your code and that of your colleagues through the consistent creation of unit and integration tests and meticulous documentation.
- Hands-on Validation and Optimization: A key part of your work is validating the functions you develop. You will test not only in simulations (MATLAB/Simulink) but also directly on the bicycle to close the gap between code and the real riding sensation, perfecting the system.
- Systematic Problem Analysis: You will analyze the behavior of the overall system, investigate the root causes of error messages, and work systematically on the continuous improvement of our software.
- Agile Collaboration: You will work closely with international teams in Germany to align on requirements, define interfaces, and collaboratively find the best technical solutions.
