AIFM Portfolio Management – Manager (Team Lead), 12-month fixed-term contract

Job Description

What you'll do:

• You'll oversee delegated portfolio management activities in line with AIFMD and CSSF Circular 18/698, including periodic due diligence and ongoing monitoring of investment advisors and portfolio managers.
• You'll escalate material issues, breaches, or concerns to Conducting Officers and relevant committees.
• You'll review and challenge investment proposals, transaction rationales, and execution processes prepared by delegates.
• You'll ensure investment activities remain aligned with each fund’s investment strategy, risk profile, and governing documents.
• You'll ensure compliance with AIFMD, CSSF circulars, and internal AIFM policies and procedures.
• You'll contribute to regulatory reporting and audits (CSSF, external auditors, depositaries) from a portfolio management perspective.
• You'll coordinate day‑to‑day activities of portfolio officers within the team, ensuring workload prioritisation and continuity.
• You'll act as data quality owner for portfolio management‑related data across systems, reports, and disclosures.

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
• You have a minimum of 6–8 years of experience in alternative investment funds, AIFM, asset management, or a related environment
• You have strong hands‑on experience with AIFM portfolio management or oversight of delegated portfolio management
• You have a good understanding of Luxembourg fund structures (AIF, RAIF, SIF, SCSp, SICAV, etc.)
• You have a very good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• You are fluent in English; French is a strong advantage, and additional languages are a plus
