This role supports the identification, development and conversion of new business opportunities across key markets. You’ll combine proactive lead generation with in-depth research and market intelligence to build a high-quality pipeline, working closely with the wider sales team to qualify prospects and shape targeted client engagement strategies. Acting as a key coordinator during the early stages of the sales cycle, you’ll contribute to proposals, support RFPs, and help deliver a seamless and professional experience for prospective clients. Alongside maintaining accurate data, tracking performance and monitoring competitor activity, you’ll play a vital role in positioning IQ‑EQ’s full suite of services — ensuring they are clearly articulated, commercially compelling, and aligned to client needs.
What you will do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted research and lead generation aligned to strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs to deliver tailored proposals
- Support the end-to-end new business process, including market research, due diligence, RFP/RFI coordination, and sales meetings
- Track performance, maintain accurate CRM data, and gather market and competitor intelligence
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to drive growth, communicate offerings effectively, and represent IQ‑EQ professionally

Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree qualification.
- Accounting and/or Financial Services experience. At least 8 years’ relevant experience in client facing role in business development, ideally with a successful track record in the fund admin space.
- Knowledge of closed-ended and open-ended funds, private equity and hedge funds.
- Highly self-motivated, possesses great integrity, good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Effective documentary writing & IT skills (including MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
