The Role
T1 Energy is looking to hire an EHS Supervisor who partners with the Senior EHS Supervisor under direction of the EHS Manager. This role is responsible for supporting and enforcing environmental, health, and safety programs at T1 Energy’s Wilmer, TX facility. This role ensures compliance with ISO, OSHA, EPA, and state regulations while promoting a strong safety culture in an energy manufacturing environment. The EHS Supervisor works closely with other operations, maintenance, and technical supervisors and managers on the evening shift to identify hazards, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance. This is a salaried-exempt role.
What You’ll Do
Environmental Compliance
· Assist with ISO 14001 and other jurisdictional regulatory environmental compliance programs related to air, wastewater, waste, and hazardous materials
· Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals and waste
· Maintains required environmental documentation, permits, and reports
Training & Culture
· Deliver and coordinate all required EHS training (new hire orientation, refresher training, compliance training)
· Promote employee engagement and a proactive safety culture, from a top-down operational team leader-guided support and mentoring focus
· Serve as a safety resource for supervisors, managers and employees
Regulatory & Documentation
· Maintain EHS records, logs, and reports (OSHA 300, training records, inspections, permits)
· Support regulatory inspections and audits
· Remain current and connected with all jurisdictional EHS regulations
Collaboration & Leadership
· Partner with operations, maintenance, and HR to integrate safety into daily activities
· Support emergency response planning, drills, and readiness
· Assist in developing site-specific safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Who You Are
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or related field, or equivalent directly relevant experience
· 5-7 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, energy, or industrial environments
· Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management systems
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· Experience with OSHA VPP / ISO 45001 | 14001 program requirements
Qualifications
· Bilingual English/Spanish fluency strongly preferred
· Experience in energy, battery, or advanced manufacturing environments
· OSHA 30 or 511
· CSP, ASP, or similar certification (international equivalents)
· Experience with environmental permitting and compliance
Physical & Work Requirements
· Ability to walk production floors, climb stairs/ladders, and wear required PPE
· Ability to respond to emergencies as needed
· Work may involve extended alternating schedules on night shift and additional day support as required or needed for training or critical team meetings
