Deck Installer / Deck Technician - Pool Construction (Immediate Start)

About the Role

A leading pool contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Deck Installer / Deck Technician to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesman with hands‑on experience in pool decks, concrete, pavers, resurfacing, or general construction. Projects are located throughout Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin counties, and reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and finish pool decks (pavers, concrete, coatings, or related materials)
• Assist with deck prep, demolition, leveling, and layout
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Follow project plans, measurements, and quality standards
• Work independently or with a crew to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Communicate progress and needs to the project manager or foreman

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in deck installation, pool construction, concrete, pavers, or similar trades
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Reliable transportation to job sites across tri‑county area
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Ability to start immediately preferred

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with pool decks specifically
• Knowledge of resurfacing, coping, or concrete finishing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
