nLogic is seeking a Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part as an individual contributor in supporting mission-defense efforts. The Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for developing automation related software development products at the system level to support automation and test verifications teams.
Responsibilities
- Build software products assigned by your leadership related to test automation of requirement verification efforts at the system level
- Develop software in an Agile environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative team setting across all levels
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience, a Masters Degree and 3+ years of related experience, or 1+ year of related experience with a PhD
- Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
- Must possess good communication skills
- Capable of working both independently and within team environments
- Must be able to work in office, on site
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements decomposition and requirements management
- Degree in Systems Engineering
- Experience with Requirement Verification methods such as Test
- Knowledge or experience of Missile Defense systems and frameworks
- Demonstrated independent planning, organization, and working in cross-functional teams with a customer focus
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science discipline(s)
- Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams
- Experience in software development related to Test Automation
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Current Security+ certification
- Professional experience development using Python or similar languages
