nLogic is seeking a Software Engineer to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part in supporting missile defense efforts and may be filled at different experience levels depending on qualifications.
The role is responsible for designing and developing real-time embedded software applications, integrating and testing software with complex hardware systems, and supporting the delivery of mission-critical capabilities in an Agile development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM field
- Experience developing real-time embedded software in C++
- Experience with hardware/software integration
- Experience developing software in a RHEL/Linux environment
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development practices
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs
- Must be able to work on-site in an office environment in Huntsville, AL
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field
- Missile Defense domain knowledge
- Experience using LabView
- Security + Certification
- A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
