Cyklop Packaging is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development and sales growth across Victoria and New South Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in packaging solutions and play a key role in expanding market share across two of Australia's largest industrial markets.  

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, transport, and distribution sectors.

This role is ideally suited to a hands-on sales professional with strong experience in the strapping and industrial packaging industry who thrives on winning new business, growing key accounts, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the VIC and NSW territories, driving a combination of new business acquisition and account growth. You will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and provide tailored solutions across Cyklop's range of strapping systems, consumables, and packaging equipment.

You will be a visible presence in the market, building strong industry relationships and positioning Cyklop as the preferred packaging partner across a diverse customer base

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth across Victoria and New South Wales through new business development and account management
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to increase market penetration and expand existing customer accounts
  • Promote Cyklop's range of strapping equipment, consumables, and packaging solutions
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based sales engagements
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborate with service, operations, and customer support teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes

About You

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Senior Sales Representative role
  • Strong experience within the strapping, packaging, palletising, wrapping, or industrial packaging industry
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and developing long-term customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of packaging equipment, consumables, and industrial manufacturing environments
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, transport, or distribution sectors
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Experience with strapping systems and consumables
  • Exposure to automated packaging equipment and end-of-line packaging solutions
  • Existing industry network within manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors
