Project Manager (Business & IT) | Kanji IT

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of business and IT initiatives, including manufacturing site technology deployments, infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and business transformation programs. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with executives, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams to drive successful outcomes across multiple projects.
Reporting to the PMO Lead, you'll be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and business adoption every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale business and IT projects
- Manage multiple interdependent projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Deliver technology upgrades, business improvement initiatives, and site-based projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Build strong relationships with executives, business leaders, and project stakeholders
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and project control meetings
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused communication
- Maintain a proactive "no surprises" approach to stakeholder engagement
PMO, Reporting & Controls
- Operate within established PMO methodologies and governance frameworks
- Prepare executive-level reporting including milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and project status
- Maintain robust RAID logs and dependency management processes
Change & Business Readiness
- Lead change management, communication, training, and adoption activities
- Support business readiness and successful transition to new platforms and processes
- Identify and manage stakeholder resistance and adoption risks
Risk, Vendor & Financial Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and delivery partners
- Ensure delivery outcomes align with agreed scope, budget, and business objectives
About You
Essential Experience
- 5–7+ years' experience delivering business and IT projects within medium to large organisations
- Proven track record managing complex technology and business transformation projects
- Experience operating within mature PMO environments and governance structures
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Hands-on experience using Jira, Kanban boards, and project reporting tools
Highly Regarded
- Experience delivering technology integration projects
- Manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology project experience
- Multi-region or cross-border project delivery experience
- Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent
