Senior Accountant (9 months temporary assignment)

Job Description

This is a 9 month fixed term contract to provide backfill support for a team member who is working on an internal project. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling accounting roles eg. AR, AP, GL, etc.
• Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations.
• Assist FC in Performing full set of accounts and ensure timely closing
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
• Preparation of payment vouchers & journal entries &other transactions
• Reconciliation of bank statements
• Reconciliation of Intercompany statements
• Other financial management duties assigned by management.
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Assist FC to complete internal and statutory audits.
• Assist FC Saudi Tax Records maintenance and filing.
• Issue Invoice & Record Purchase invoice.
• Apply for Credit limit.
• Initiate payment in Bank.
• Account employee expense.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor`s degree in accounting/Finance
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a senior accountant (preferably in Oil and Gas field)
• Very Good Verbal, written, and communication skills in both Arabic & English
• A very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in Accounting software and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft AX/D365.
• Strong personality, ability to manage a team, work under pressure & analytical capabilities
