Remote Recruitment is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance, and manage a small payroll team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a UK workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain compliance with UK HMRC requirements including PAYE, NI, and pension auto-enrolment
- Lead and develop a small payroll team, reviewing their work and providing guidance
- Resolve payroll queries from employees and managers professionally
- Produce payroll reports and liaise with finance on payroll reconciliations
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of UK payroll experience with at least 1 year in a management or senior role
- Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations, RTI submissions, and pension compliance
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as Sage Payroll, ADP, or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure
- Reliable internet and a professional home workspace
What's on Offer
- Salary: R30,000 per month
- Full-time, permanent remote position
- Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
