Job Description
Associate Director – Project Management / Construction Management (PMCM) to lead the delivery of large and complex projects across multiple sectors. The role will be responsible for driving project execution, client engagement, stakeholder management, contract administration, and construction oversight to ensure successful delivery within time, cost, safety, and quality parameters.
The candidate should possess project leadership capability, team and people management skills, and communication capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management and construction management assignments from project initiation through completion and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings, progress reviews, and project governance discussions.
- Develop project execution plans, delivery strategies, project schedules, milestones, monitoring frameworks, and KPIs.
- Drive project performance on schedule, budget, quality, and safety through robust planning, monitoring, and risk management.
- Monitor project progress against established KPIs and provide regular project reports to leadership and clients.
- Identify project risks, delays, and execution challenges, and implement mitigation/recovery plans.
- Manage client expectations through transparent communication, timely reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
- Support negotiation and resolution of project-related commercial and contractual matters.
- Lead preparation/review of tender documentation, scope definition, technical specifications, bid packages, and RFP documentation.
- Participate in contract negotiations, award recommendations, and contractor onboarding.
- Administer contracts including change management, claims review, variation orders, payment certification, and final account closure.
Experience Required:
- 15+ years of total experience with minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Project Management / Construction Management
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong exposure to client management and project delivery
- Team management and People management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / related discipline
- Master’s degree in Project / Construction Management or MBA is preferred
Additional Information
