Safety & Security Manager

Job Description

• Lead and manage the Security Department and daily operations.
• Review security logbooks daily and escalate critical matters to senior management.
• Conduct investigations on guest incidents, accidents, and employee-related cases and submit reports within 48 hours.
• Control and monitor all property access including contractors, suppliers, visitors, and gate pass systems.
• Supervise CCTV operations and all security posts across the hotel.
• Ensure strict compliance with hotel safety and security procedures.
• Maintain confidential security records and departmental reports.
• Prepare monthly reports and operational updates for management.
• Ensure full emergency preparedness including fire safety, evacuation, and crisis response.
• Conduct regular fire drills and safety training programs for staff.
• Train security team members on emergency procedures, firefighting, life-saving techniques, and incident handling.
• Update and maintain emergency manuals and safety procedures in coordination with management.
• Attend management meetings in the absence of senior security leadership when required.
• Ensure smooth coordination with all hotel departments on safety matters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Manager / Safety & Security Head in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and security operations.
• Excellent leadership, investigation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to train and manage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and crisis management abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Relevant security/safety certifications will be an advantage.
