Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Water Supply / Hydraulics Expert to support the planning, design, and delivery of major water infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in hydraulic engineering and the design of large-scale water supply systems, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hydraulic design and analysis of water supply systems, including:
  • Transmission mains
  • Distribution networks
  • Storage reservoirs and associated infrastructure
• Undertake hydraulic modeling, system optimization, and performance assessments.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for design deliverables.
• Review and validate engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Support project planning, feasibility studies, and detailed design phases.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant international codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering / Water Engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or closely related field

Additional Information

• At least 10 years of experience in the design of major water infrastructure systems, including:
  • Transmission pipelines
  • Water distribution systems
  • Storage reservoirs
• Proven experience as a Hydraulics Engineer in at least three (3) projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience working in similar environmental and project conditions.
• Strong expertise in hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., WaterGEMS, EPANET, InfoWorks, or equivalent).
