Who are we hiring?
The Extra Laborer is responsible for general cleaning duties and maintaining a safe, orderly environment. This role also involves physical lifting and moving of equipment during the building conversion process.
What will you do?
-
Report to scheduled shifts on time and in uniform
-
Physically lift heavy equipment for arena event changeovers
-
Pick, sweep, mop, and detail all forms of arena bowl cleaning
-
Move trash, handle basketball court, sports floor, portable chairs, hockey glass, and hockey dash
-
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered)
-
Utilize cleaning, hand, and power tools; learn tasks including rigging and snow removal equipment operation

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment

Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site
What do you need to succeed?

A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time

Ability to work with various operating groups

Positive attitude and good teamwork ethic

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for all internal communication

Ability to learn and navigate scheduling software (WorkForce)
-
Basic understanding of technology, utilizing apps, comfortable learning new systems, and adapting to updates
Special Requirements

This position includes heavy lifting and cleaning

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends

Typical shift hours are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; scheduling and hours may vary based on business needs
Please note this is an event-driven role:

During peak season (October – April), associates are scheduled an average of 3–4 nights per week

In the off season (May – September), associates are scheduled an average of 0–2 nights per week, based on business needs and employee availability
