Young Graduate Data & AI Engineer (m/f)

Job Description

At ARHS Group part of Accenture we are looking for a motivated recent graduate with a strong interest in AI engineering, cloud technologies, and applied machine learning. The ideal candidate combines technical curiosity with a hands-on mindset and is eager to grow by contributing to real-world AI projects involving LLMs, NLP, document intelligence, cloud deployment, and scalable software engineering.

As a Young Graduate Data & AI Engineer (m/f), you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of intelligent data and AI solutions using technologies such as NLP, computer vision, and Large Language Models. You will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams to transform data into practical, secure, and scalable AI-driven solutions, while growing your technical expertise across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.

THE WORK:

• Support the development of AI and machine learning pipelines covering data preparation, model experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Contribute to the implementation of LLM-based solutions, including the use of open-source models such as Mistral or LLaMA, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in building NLP solutions for use cases such as information extraction, text classification, semantic search, document enrichment, and chatbot development.
• Help develop and expose ML models through APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or equivalent technologies.
• Participate in AI workload deployment on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Support the integration of AI services into cloud-native, serverless, or event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Learn and apply good engineering practices related to DevOps, version control, automation, and secure deployment.

The work location for this role is an ARHS – Part of Accenture office.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related field.
• A first academic, internship, or project experience in AI, data science, machine learning, or software engineering is expected.

Programming & APIs

• Good knowledge of Python. Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend service development.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.

AI, NLP & Machine Learning

• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Exposure to NLP, transformers, embeddings, or Large Language Models.
• Interest in prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, chatbot development, OCR, or document understanding.
• Experience with academic, personal, or internship projects involving AI/ML is highly valued.

Cloud & Engineering Practices

• Awareness of cloud platforms.
• Awareness of Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Infrastructure-as-Code concepts such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Interest in learning how AI solutions are deployed, monitored, and maintained in production environments.

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills in English or French.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new AI and cloud technologies.
• Good documentation habits.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and receive guidance from more experienced colleagues.
• Interest in Agile, DevOps, and collaborative delivery practices.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Vector databases, semantic search, and embeddings knowledge/
• Event-driven architectures such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, or Event Grid.
• Traditional software development using Java, .NET, TypeScript, Spring Boot, or similar technologies.
