  • Conduct regular supportive supervision and coaching visits with government staff to CHWs and other community facilitators to improve quality of counselling, facilitation skills, and use of SBC tools.
  • Support capacity building and provide ongoing technical guidance to agriculture interns to strengthen nutrition integration in their work.
  • Collaborate with agriculture teams to promote production and consumption of nutrient-dense foods through kitchen gardens.

Monitoring, learning and reporting:

  • Collect nutrition-related field data using approved tools and support verification of data quality.
  • Accurately enter data into project systems and maintain updated nutrition tracking records.
  • Support basic data analysis of implementation and behaviour adoption data to identify trends, implementation gaps, and opportunities for programme improvement.
  • Assist in preparation of activity updates, case studies, and success stories.
  • Document lessons learned, challenges, and best practices from nutrition interventions.
  • Identify implementation challenges and propose practical, context-specific solutions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Nutrition SBCC approaches and community-based nutrition programming
  • Basic knowledge or experience in nutrition-sensitive agriculture and linkages between food systems and nutrition outcomes.

  • One to two years of relevant working experience in the agriculture and/or nutrition sector
  • Experience working directly with rural communities, CHWs or farmer groups is an added advantage.
