Content & Community Ambassador (US)
Libra
Posted about 20 hours ago
About Libra: Libra AI is building a horizontal AI tool that gets work done across your tools, data, and workflows. We're a fast-moving startup based in San Francisco, and we're looking for someone who wants to be the voice and face of Libra across social platforms and at events in the US.
The Role
You're not fetching coffee. You're not scheduling posts for someone else. You are the storyteller.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role where you'll create video content, build our social presence, represent Libra at AI events, and help grow our community.
We're hiring one Content & Community Ambassador. You can be in your junior or senior year of college, what matters is that you have the drive, the voice, and the presence to own this.
What You'll Do
Create short-form video content (3–5 videos/week): hot takes on AI news, explainers about what Libra is building, street-style interviews, behind-the-scenes at events, reaction videos, meme-adjacent commentary. Think: what actually works on X and LinkedIn, not corporate promo reels.
Own Libra's social presence on X and LinkedIn, post, engage in threads, reply to mentions, jump into AI conversations in real-time. The tone is sharp, informed, and a little opinionated. Not a press release machine.
Attend 1–2 AI/tech events per month in SF and the Bay Area, hackathons, meetups, launch parties, conferences. Create content on-site (interviews, recaps, live posts). Be the person in the room representing Libra.
Help plan and run community activities, Twitter/X Spaces, Discord events, AMAs, virtual hackathons, co-hosted events with other startups. You'll help shape what these look like, not just execute someone else's plan.
Document everything, photos, videos, written recaps that turn IRL energy into digital reach. If it happened and wasn't captured, it didn't happen.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
In your junior or senior year at a US or Canadian university, studying engineering, computer science, business, marketing, communications, or a similar track. We're flexible on the exact major, we care about curiosity and hustle.
Active personal presence on X and/or LinkedIn - this is non-negotiable. We want someone who already has a voice on these platforms. You don't need 50K followers, but you should be someone who posts, engages, and has opinions that people respond to.
Comfortable on camera, you'll be the face of Libra's social content. If you're already making videos for your own channels, that's exactly what we want.
Based in or near San Francisco, or willing to travel to SF for events, this is critical. Part of this role is physical presence at AI events in the Bay Area.
You can hold a real conversation about AI, you don't need to be a researcher, but you should know what agents are, why they matter, and have a take on where things are going. If you can't talk about AI without sounding like a press release, this isn't the role.
Nice-to-Haves:
Video editing skills - CapCut, Premiere Pro, or solid phone-native editing
Existing connections in the SF AI/tech scene
Experience with event coverage or live content creation
A portfolio or examples of content you've created (personal projects count)
Experience running or building a community, a Discord server, a club, a meetup, a Twitter Space series, anything
Why This Role
Real ownership, not intern work. You'll have posting access. You'll make content that goes live, not content that dies in an approval queue.
You'll be in the rooms that matter. AI events in SF are where deals, partnerships, and hype get made. You'll be there, not watching from Twitter.
Build your personal brand alongside Libra's. Your name, your face, your voice, amplified by a startup that's going places.
Flexible hours. 5–10 hrs/week. We care about output, not clock-in time.
Content budget included. Small monthly budget for event tickets, coffee meetings, and the tools you need.
