- Ship user-facing Android features from intent to production in Kotlin, prioritising reliability, security, and usability.
- Write clean, maintainable code and keep automated tests up to date to enable confident releases.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA to clarify scope, make trade-offs, and deliver customer value.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and release support for features you own.
- Proactively identify and reduce technical debt; propose practical improvements to architecture and processes.
- Share knowledge through pairing, demos, and documentation to help the team grow.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [
- Practical Android experience with Kotlin and Android SDK; you have shipped production Android features.
- You write readable, well tested code and follow team standards for architecture and reviews.
- You communicate clearly across disciplines and make trade-offs that prioritise customer outcomes.
- You understand mobile security and compliance constraints and apply them in your work.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and take responsibility for the end to end quality of your work.
- Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit, Hilt/Dagger, or Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with crash reporting and mobile monitoring tools (Crashlytics or similar).
- Prior experience working in crossfunctional squads within regulated
domains.
