Job Description

Synopsis

Participate in the creation, maintenance and updating of the Etihad Cargo Services Manual (CSM), Etihad Cargo Bulletins, Process Manual Cargo (PM-CG), local operating procedures and other related documentation as required, in accordance with international regulations and standards governing air cargo transportation, UAE GCAA regulations and Etihad internal policies. Contribute to the Etihad Ground Operations Manual (GOM) and associated ground operations documentation.

Accountabilities

•    Support the development of the Ground Operations Manual (GOM) and related documentation, including all applicable safety and security standards and requirements.
•    Develop, document and communicate general and applicable local level aircraft handling and servicing procedures, including research of appropriate aircraft handling and servicing procedures in readiness for the introduction of new aircraft types.
•    Conduct and record gap analyses to support the alignment requirements of Ground Operations documentation with applicable regulations and standards.
•    Maintain and monitor user credentials for documentation access platforms, for external ground operations users across the global airports network, ensuring all creation/deletion requests are performed promptly and confirmed to the applicable Airport Managers.
•    Conduct documentation user and access reviews, sharing statistics with Airport Managers and coordinating user creation and deletions as required.
•    Update and communicate station information changes to applicable airports and stakeholder departments.
•    Support departmental preparation for regulatory, corporate and industry audits.
•    Provide appropriate feedback to line manager on progress and any issues relating to policies, procedures and tasks associated with station start-ups and ground handling service provider changes.
•    Arrange and deliver ground operations training to Etihad and third-party service provider personnel as operationally required and according to individual training authorisation.
•    Support Manager Cargo Procedures with delegated cargo operations documentation-related tasks, as and when required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree qualified, preferably in Aviation Management, Business Administration 
•    Previous aviation industry experience within the airline operations or ground operations preferably min 5 years experience
