As an Associate Designer, you are excited to contribute to the development of creative concepts that translate visually. You are an original thinker and a team player matching strategic direction with appropriate design results across digital experiences. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for design. You Will:
- Work with a mentor to design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
- Create and update digital assets for websites, product pages, and other online channels.
- Support ongoing website maintenance and content updates.
- Design layouts, banners, graphics, and visual elements that align with brand guidelines.
- Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
- Build and maintain a team rapport with entire multidisciplinary project team.
You Have:
- Strong design portfolio that demonstrates solid visual, interactive and graphic design skills.
- Comfortability brainstorming and contributing to bigger ideas
- Ability to articulate creative ideas
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail
- Understanding of information architecture and hierarchy
- Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web
- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people
Nice-to-haves:
- Post-secondary education, certification, or experience in a related field preferred
- Experience using standard design tools, such as Figma, PhotoShop, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience with digital design, including UX
- Motion graphics experience for the Web and video
