Job Description
The Recruiting & Onboarding Supervisor supports the Regional Personnel Development Manager with local recruiting and onboarding across the district. The supervisor acts as an expert recruiting and onboarding resource for both employees and managers, and works in close collaboration with the District Manager, Branch Manager, and district leadership to achieve the recruiting and employee onboarding goals of the district.
Responsibilities and Duties

Recruiting & Selection
- Support district with developing and implementing an effective recruitment program and tools. Participation in recruiting efforts can be expected as needed.
- Support district with local internship programs as needed.
- Manages the Smart Recruiters process from posting, screening, and closing job adverts in line with our Time to Hire KPIs.
- Works with the district’s management team to support the recruiting and hiring process from beginning to end.
- Manage and attends local Career Fairs.
Onboarding
- Works in tandem with the Regional Personnel Development Manager and Employee Relations Coordinator to ensure consistent and highly effective onboarding experience for new hires and/or transfers.
- Supports the district’s leadership team to ensure new hires are properly aligned with foundational skills, knowledge, and resources to succeed in their job function.
Training
- Facilitation of in-person and virtual training may be required.
Other Related Activities:
- Attend and participate in Global Training calls.
- Attend and participate in Americas Training calls.
- Contribute to ongoing productivity improvements within the training organization.
Systems
- Expected to utilize various forms of reporting and analytics for monitoring, trending, analysis, and conducting assessments.

Physical Demands

- Use of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc.
- Write with pencil/pen/marker
- Functions performed primarily while seated at a desk
- Stand for varying periods of time while delivering in-person training classes.
Travel required to facilitate in-person training and/or meetings with district management teams and employees.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
- Management experience preferred.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Proven ability to problem solve and implement solutions.
- Results oriented.
- Proven ability to generate influence and drive change.
- Proficiency in employee development skills and knowledge to include:
- Recruiting
- Interviewing
- Training (facilitation)
- Coaching and Mentoring
