We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer (PIM) for a 6-month contract with Belmont Lavan Ltd. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and integration solutions focused on Product Information Management (PIM) systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, a strong understanding of PIM platforms, and a passion for optimizing data workflows to enhance product data quality and accessibility.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implementing scalable data solutions, ensuring data integrity and governance, and leveraging cloud technologies to support PIM data management.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Proficiency in building and managing data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Hands-on experience with data governance, data quality tools, and security practices.
- Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach to delivering solutions.
- Proficient in SQL, Bash scripting, and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.
- Familiarity with PIM platforms and product data lifecycle management.
