Job Description

 

  • Support our analysts in building out pricing and valuation tools and integrating them in current Portfolio Management landscape
  • Conduct research projects to improve power market modelling and business strategy
  • Automate processes related to reporting and data management to help business scale
  • Support product development initiatives and projects for Portfolio Management
  • Gain first-hand and in-depth understanding of power markets and related commodities with a focus on renewable energy and learn the fundamentals of energy trading

Qualifications

  • Interest in the renewables and power market.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with data analysis/data science in Excel and Python (or R, Matlab, etc.)
  • Currently studying Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant analytical field of study and available for 6-month internship.
  • High level of motivation, structured way of working and able to get things done.
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Understanding of the power market an advantage.
  • Understanding of trading on commodity markets is an advantage
