Job Description
- Integrate the supplier’s timelines with your project schedule to ensure alignment.
- Maintain open communication through regular meetings and factory visits to review progress and address any issues that arise.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions, production delays, or quality concerns.
- Follow regular reporting routines.
- Provide updates to the Master Project Plan and the Quality Management Plan, especially when deliverable dates change.
- Process any requested changes to the Master Project Plan.
- Develop recovery plans if needed (e.g., delaying shipments when site delays occur).
- Address any deviations from the contract.
- Conduct necessary logistics investigations and planning before commencing activities.
- Ensure all required documentation is available.
- Map out customs clearance activities and take appropriate actions as needed.
- Address contractual variations and non-conformances in alignment with “Manage Phase” activities.
- Ensure goods are transported in accordance with HSS, quality control steps, and required documentation.
- Confirm that contractors are prepared to receive goods on-site, with goods receiving and warehouse routines in place.
- Coordinate the flow of deliveries at the site, ensuring readiness (access roads, laydown areas, security measures).
- Control the status of goods, including rejections, deviations, rework, transfer of ownership, insurance, and responsibilities.
- Document the route from port to site, including an investigation and logistics report.
Qualifications
- Contract administration studies
- Degree in engineering, administration, economics or similar.
- Experience:
- 8 years of experience in industry, minning, construction and/or energy.
- Experience from large energy, building- and construction contracts administration (3 years of specific experience).
- International experience – Flexibility and understanding in dealing with cultural differences and conditions.
- Language: Native Spanish and intermediate English.
- Specific Knowlegde:
- High software skills – SAP, Office tools.
- Strong experience using procurement platforms and system.
- Contract administration strategies.
