Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Intern in Investment Management & M&A to support our team for 4–6 months, starting in July.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support experienced Investment Managers in the day-to-day activities to assist in the financial evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities (sell- and buyside) and own developments for technologies such as wind, BESS as well as conventional generation
  • (Support to) create project-specific financial assessments (discounted cash flow) based on financial models in Excel for both M&A opportunities and own development pipeline
  • Research, analyze and present valuation results, market data, and transaction information with help of AI tools to support the decision makers
  • Support in every stage of an M&A process, both buy and sell-side: transaction management, marketing materials, offer preparation, due diligence, decision papers, pre- and post-closing activities

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in valuation, M&A, consulting, controlling through internships or similar is advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of the German and English languages
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mentality.
  • Integrity is a significant part of your personality
