Job Description
In our R&D department in the area of Adhesive Systems we are looking for a motivated and dedicated Project Leader. In this versatile position you are the interface between research, production, quality assurance, marketing and application engineering, fulfilling the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Independent development of products, technologies and their manufacturing processes as well as internal and external implementation
- Leading of project teams; defines and calls for work packages, ensures the transfer of know-how and coordination
- Contact and collaboration with internal and external interface functions
- Manages the expectations of the customer and stakeholder
- Technical support of the products and technologies internally and among customers
- Knows and maintains state of the art technology (e.g. competitive products, specialized literature, congresses, patents)
- Planning and documentation according to the process guidelines, presentations and vindication of the results/ projects internally and externally
- Patenting of new technologies and initiating proceeding
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Initial experience in R&D as a Junior Scientist, Product Developer, Project Leader, or similar, with expertise in product or technology development.
- Project Management: Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaboration: Builds and maintains internal networks, fostering teamwork and leveraging global resources.
- Organization – Strong ability to manage tasks and priorities.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English; German is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Solid IT proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in adhesives or related industries, with deep market and technology knowledge.
- Experience with thermal interface materials and polyurethane adhesives
- Data science familiarity
