Software Engineering Team Lead (m/f)

Job Description

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead (m/f) to join one of our client teams onsite in Luxembourg within a European institutional environment.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary development squad, ensuring successful delivery of business-critical applications while driving engineering excellence, process improvements, and collaboration across teams. You will act as the key interface between technical teams, product stakeholders, and management, combining technical leadership with delivery ownership.

THE WORK:

• Lead the delivery of applications and initiatives across the squad, from planning through deployment and production support.
• Coordinate development activities and manage dependencies across multiple applications and workstreams.
• Drive technical and organizational improvements to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, QA Leads, and business stakeholders to align priorities and objectives.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring transparency with management and stakeholders.
• Support technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Lead migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Coach and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Promote Agile and Kanban best practices, including flow optimization and work prioritization.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen client relationships.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Proven experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience in Java and/or JavaScript / React development.
• Experience leading development teams and delivering complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies, including flow management and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience managing technical migrations, platform transformations, or modernization initiatives.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Proven ownership mindset with accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Experience working in large enterprise or institutional environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams or cross-functional initiatives.
• Agile, Scrum, or Kanban certifications.
