Job Description
- Lead the civil engineering scope for Waste-to-X projects within a civil consortium or EPC civil works package.
- Coordinate civil design interfaces with consortium partners, subcontractors, internal engineering teams, clients, and authorities.
- Manage design activities during procurement and execution phases for civil, structural, geotechnical, architectural, and infrastructure packages.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between civil engineering disciplines and project stakeholders throughout design and construction.
- Support preparation of civil procurement packages, including technical and commercial contract requirements.
- Assist in contractor negotiations and respond to technical queries during procurement and project execution.
- Report project progress to project management and operations teams while supporting claim management activities.
- Travel up to 10% as required for project coordination and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC, construction, or large industrial projects as a Design Engineer.
- Proven project management capabilities; PM certifications are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of international civil engineering design and construction codes and standards.
- Experience with structural design software and 3D BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Assertive and decisive personality with experience working in remote and multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English, French, German or any additional languages are a plus.
