Job Description
- Lead and drive the decarbonisation R&D program as Technology Expert Decarbonisation, combining deep technical expertise with strong conceptual thinking.
- Act as the principal expert for the assessment and development of the decarbonisation technology portfolio.
- Contribute actively to decarbonisation R&D projects, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
- Provide technical leadership to a small team of R&D engineers, with potential for future team leadership responsibilities.
- Support system-level problem solving through both high-level conceptual understanding and deep technical analysis.
- Collaborate across teams and stakeholders in a dynamic and uncertain R&D environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline required.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering, R&D, or decarbonisation-related fields.
- Strong expertise in decarbonisation technologies and R&D environments.
- Proven ability to combine strategic/conceptual thinking with detailed technical problem solving.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience managing or contributing to complex R&D projects.
- Collaborative, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in uncertain environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
