Social Worker - Secondary Stage AY26-27

Egypt Education Platform is urgently seeking a skilled Social Worker for the Secondary Stage to join our team at Madinaty Integrated Language School. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and proactive professional dedicated to enhancing the well-being and academic success of our secondary students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support through individual and group counseling to secondary students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to students’ specific needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to promote a positive school climate and address any student-related issues.
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians to foster a supportive home environment.
• Work closely with external organizations and services to connect students with additional resources and support.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for faculty on best practices for supporting adolescent mental health and well-being.
• Keep detailed case notes and documentation, ensuring adherence to school confidentiality policies and standards.
• Actively participate in meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of school policies aimed at enhancing student welfare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) working with secondary students and their families.
• Strong grasp of adolescent development, mental health challenges, and available community resources.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and implement inclusive practices.
• Relevant certification or licensure in social work is preferred.
