Consultant /Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our distinguished medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert surgical care for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans including surgical interventions.
• Perform complex gastrointestinal surgeries with a high standard of care, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring prompt and effective recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery processes.
• Engage in research and continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Maintain precise documentation and comply with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from a recognized institution and completion of General Surgery residency.
• Fellowship or specialized training in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Surgeon.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in gastrointestinal surgical practice.
• Proficiency in advanced and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgical techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education and research.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
