Job Description
You will be the Finance Business Partner for Malaysia, reporting to the Head of Finance, Developed Markets. You will work closely with the Country Managing Director and leaders across Sales, Operations and Marketing to turn data into decisions. You will own Malaysia’s planning and reporting rhythms, and play an active role in APAC Finance strategic initiatives that lift revenue growth, cost discipline and profitability.
You will build robust financial models, business cases and scenario analysis that clarify options and trade‑offs. You will facilitate budgeting and forecasting, analyse monthly results and highlight the drivers, risks and opportunities that matter. You will collaborate with finance peers across APAC to align planning assumptions, reporting approaches and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the Country MD, Sales, Operations and Marketing to shape revenue, cost and profitability decisions.
- Lead Malaysia budgeting and forecasting cycles and deliver accurate, actionable plans.
- Build financial models and business cases; run scenario and what‑if analysis for investments and pricing.
- Own month‑end management reporting and explain results, variances and forward actions.
- Analyse revenue, margin and profitability drivers; surface material risks and opportunities.
- Align with APAC finance on planning assumptions, reporting and ways of working.
- Support internal, statutory and investor reporting requirements where applicable.
Qualifications
- CA/CPA/ Bachelors Degree in Finance (or equivalent) with total 8+ years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Strong stakeholder influence skills with clear communication and presentations.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; ERP systems and data visualisation tools experience.
- Business and financial analysis and report writing experience.
- Comfortable working autonomously in fast‑paced, cross‑location teams under pressure
