Job Description
The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.
OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance to Supervise the mechanical maintenance team in the achievement of maintenance targets safely and efficiently as well as ensure the fullest availability of production equipment, utilities, and related facilities at optimal cost and under satisfactory conditions of quality safety and protection of the environment
This role reports to Superintendent - Maintenance (Mobile/Underground).
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyzes information to enable the cost-effective allocation of resources that are available for maintenance to provide the highest levels of safety and reliability of engineered systems and works
- Calculates the probability or frequency of occurrence and resulting impact of risk in the design of an engineered component, system, or process
- Runs asset lifecycle costing, root cause failure analysis, reliability modelling, and assessments, fit for purpose analyses and failure patterns of equipment to provide reliability engineering and technical support to production, maintenance and project teams
- Establishes the technical design, selection, specification, modification and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to provide engineering design and support to production, maintenance and project teams
- Develop risk mitigation plans and procedures to address indentified hazards

Educational Background
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
Work Experience and Background
- 2 years of supervisory work experience in metal & mining industry
Specialization/License
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer
- Professional Driving License
