GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with a growing apparel manufacturing and private label company with approximately $100M in annual revenue that is seeking a Financial Controller to join its leadership team.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, audit support, and cash flow management.

### Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end and year-end close

Manage AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting

Oversee cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and inventory-in-transit

Manage factoring relationships and A/R financing

Lead audits and ensure GAAP compliance

Partner with Production, Sourcing, Logistics, and Executive Leadership

Manage and develop the accounting team

### Ideal Background:

Prior Controller experience

Apparel manufacturing, wholesale, private label, or import production experience

Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting knowledge

QuickBooks Online expertise

Advanced Excel skills

Experience in high-volume transaction environments

Factoring and financing experience is a plus

This company is looking for a hands-on leader who understands the operational and financial complexities of overseas production, inventory management, and large retail customer relationships.
